IRVING, Texas – Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested by Frisco, Texas, police Monday night for shoplifting, according to multiple reports.

The reports indicate that Randle was arrested for Class B Misdemeanor Theft, which specifies theft of a value between $50 and $500. He was booked into Frisco city jail and released after posting bond.

Randle is accused of attempting to steal underwear and cologne from the Dillard's in Stonebriar Centre Mall.

The arrest comes just a day after Randle enjoyed a breakout performance in the Cowboys' win against Seattle. His 38-yard run in the first quarter helped spark the Dallas offense, and he finished with 52 yards on five carries.

"I'm always trying to just be ready, because that's just kind of the role I've got," Randle said on Sunday. "You don't ever know when your number is going to get called. I've got to be ready to do that whenever they call me."

For the season, Randle has tallied 116 total yards on 16 carries as the primary backup to NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray.
