Bailey Up For Pepsi Weekly Rookie Award

Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey has only played three regular-season games in his young career. Already he's got two game-winning field goals.

But Bailey's 40-yard go-ahead field goal Monday night against the Redskins isn't the only reason he's up for the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week award.

The first-year kicker from Oklahoma State made all six of his attempts Monday night and provided all of the scoring in the Cowboys' 18-16 win over Washington.

Also, Bailey handled the kickoff duties for the first time in his career with David Buehler out with a groin injury.

Other nominees this week include Atlanta's Julio Jones, Carolina's Cam Newton, Baltimore's Torrey Smith and Oakland's Stefan Wisniewski.

Fans can vote for one of these five players on NFL.com/rookies from Tuesday to Friday at 11 a.m. (CDT).

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors.  Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.  The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis.
