IRVING, Texas – We all know the names of Cordarrelle Patterson, Tavon Austin and DeAndre Hopkins, so let's take a look at some guys you might not know as well.

*·         Keenan Allen                      California                         *
Runs a lot of option routes
catches the ball in traffic
plays in the slot
once catches tries to get up field
needs to stay on his feet
will go get the ball
can snatch it
some quickness in routes
runs underneath routes, not many of them down the field
will catch the ball and take a hit
gets across the field
takes his routes inside
has a  burst but doesn't always separate
will square up to catch the ball
quarterback is awful and puts him in bad spots
knows how to work the zone
sideline awareness
nice job of catching fade
might have the best set of hands in the draft and he has to because the ball is all over the place to him
.able to adjust and make plays
rare to see him run after the catch because of how he has to work for the ball
would be interested to see him with a quarterback that could make accurate throws to him down after down
.

*·         Justin Hunter                     Tennessee                        *
Outstanding frame
will play in the slot at times
able to avoid the press and get up the field
likes to catch the ball along his body
did make one adjusting catch when ball behind him
caught the ball in traffic
will go inside but can be a little hot and cold here
tried to catch the ball down the field against his body
did not extend like he should have
got some separation on the "9"
doesn't play like he has great body control
stopped on a shutter go
ran his route out of the back of the end zone
showed some wiggle with the ball in his hands
looks like he runs a better 40 than he does have speed on the field
.none look better physically than this guy
hard not to miss him on tape because of his frame
.

*·         Terrance Williams            Baylor                *
Likes to body catch the ball but is pretty good at it
not afraid of taking his route inside
.needs to do a better job of keeping his balance with the ball in his hands
plays with nice stop-start quickness
showed really nice sideline awareness
does a nice job of finding open space in route
didn't always play with separation but against Texas was able to get through their secondary for a touchdown
can struggle when he has to catch the contested ball
can adjust to the ball going away
can catch screens
dropped a deep post against Kansas St
.has some sharpness to his routes
not afraid to lay out for ball
most impressive trait he has is his ability to run routes
.very smooth
.plays with some nice quickness

*·         Stedman Bailey  West Virginia    *
Protects the ball on the slant
showed some balance on his route
snatches the slant
can spin to break initial tackle
not much sharpness to his routes
can be a little sloppy at times
catches screens and gets up field
will reach out and catch the ball
will work himself open
showed some sideline awareness
tends to trap the ball in traffic
can cover some ground on the "9" route
gives effort as a blocker
saw him go high for a ball and miss above his head
not afraid to push off to get some separation
usually plays on the single side in a three receiver attack
will come back for the ball
tends to float in routes

*·         CJ Johnson          Grand Valley     *
Long, rangy build
has some initial quickness
can drive man off
some stop-start quickness
.will run routes inside
catches the ball easily
can drive, settle and catch
.presents a nice target
will use stiff arm when running with ball in his hands
catches screens and gets up the field
uses quickness for

separation
will fight for goal line
can go high for the ball
adjusts well
will carry route across the field
needs to lay out for ball when down the field
smooth in his routes but was surprised with timed speed that he doesn't just blow by defenders
needs to fight for ball better on fade
didn't show strength to get away
have seen him do better across the middle but had a gator arm play against Ferris
did a nice job for a TD on a red zone slant against Hillsdale
has those traits you look for in late round players
.
