Chance To Win 2015 Ford Fusion Grand Prize Of "Drive Clean Texas" Program

The Texas Department of Transportation and the Dallas Cowboys teamed up for the eighth straight season by kicking off its Drive Clean Texas program.

The Drive Clean Texas campaign helps Texans save gas and keeping the air clean by reminding drivers to get regular tune-ups, properly inflate tires and combine errands.  The program also promotes the smartphone/web app Roadcents, which helps Texas drivers track their personal vehicle maintenance and reduce emissions.

Through the Drive Clean Texas Program, one lucky fan will score a 2015 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid from the "Drive Clean Texas Roadcents'" Sweepstakes.  Three finalists will receive tickets to the Dec. 21st Cowboys game vs. the Indianapolis Colts, where the grand prize winner will be randomly selected on the plaza at AT&T Stadium during the pregame festivities.

By driving more sensibly and changing aggressive driving habits like speeding and rapid starts and stops, drivers can save up to $845 per year in gas.

"We can all make a difference in air quality – and save money – by keeping our vehicles in peak condition, which reduces emissions," said Margo Richards, TxDOT Travel Information Division director. "The Roadcents app helps you do that, and so does driving a low-emission vehicle like the 2015 Ford Fusion. We are so pleased to once again have the support of the Dallas Cowboys in our effort to help Texas motorists drive clean."

Texas drivers aged 18 and up have until midnight on Dec. 9th to enter the hybrid car sweepstakes at www.roadcents.org.
