IRVING, Texas – The start of Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California, is still more than a month away, but the Cowboys announced the tentative schedule for their trip Wednesday.

The team arrives in Oxnard for camp on Tuesday, July 22, and will make for its usual base of the city's Marriott Residence Inn. The Cowboys begin practicing Thursday, July 24, and are currently scheduled for 17 practice days during their time in California.

Times and dates are subject to change, but the team's current plan is to practice at 4 p.m. PT during most of their stay in Oxnard. There are 5:15 p.m. PT practices scheduled for Monday, Aug. 4, and Sunday, Aug. 10. The Cowboys' usual Blue/White Scrimmage will be held Sunday, Aug. 3, at 3:30 p.m. PT.

The Cowboys will break camp Friday, Aug. 15, for a flight back to Dallas for their second game of the preseason, against the Baltimore Ravens at AT&T Stadium.

There is a tentative plan for the Cowboys to host the Oakland Raiders for joint practices for a portion of their training camp dates. Team executive vice president Stephen Jones said Tuesday at the Cowboys' annual sponsors' golf tournament that those plans had not been finalized, however.
