Cowboys Lottery Ticket Winners Get Front-Row Experience Of 2016 Draft

IRVING, Texas– While the Cowboys are hoping they hit the jackpot by drafting Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott, a few lucky lottery winners got an up-close view of the selection this weekend.

A dozen fans were able to experience the Drafty Day War Room, tour the team's practice facility and much more, simply by winning the 2015 Cowboys Texas Lottery ticket.

The two-day event began Thursday as the winners were welcomed by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Rowdy, before the group toured Valley Ranch, led by Ring of Honor safety Darren Woodson, who visited with the winners and guests, answering questions about the draft and his playing career with the Cowboys.

They were able to go into the War Room and personally meet Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones.

On Friday, they were able to recap the draft with a breakfast with Cowboys' analyst Mickey Spagnola, before flying back home.

The 2016 Cowboys Texas Lottery ticket is planned to hit the shelves this summer. While the grand prize is the Draft Day Party Package, participants can also win Wild Weekend Suite packages, Training Camp packages, season tickets, autographed jersey and $100 gift cards to the Cowboys' Pro Shop.
