IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys announced several roster moves on Wednesday, midway through their second week of OTAs.

The team announced its release of long snapper Charley Hughlett and wide receiver Carlton Mitchell after four offseason practices. Those moves were offset by the signings of long snapper Jackson Anderson and tackle J.B. Shugarts. [embedded_ad]

Anderson was an undrafted free agent in 2012 after playing his college career for Duke. Shugarts joined the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State in 2012. He was released from the Browns' practice squad two weeks into the 2012 season. He signed with Buffalo's practice squad Dec. 5, 2012 and was released Dec. 26.
