IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys parted ways with defensive tackle Brian Price and quarterback Aaron Corp on Thursday in a pair of roster moves.
Price landed on the waived/injured list, while Corp was released just two days after signing as a free agent on Tuesday afternoon.
The release of Price may come as a surprise to some, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 2010 second round draft pick was considered a dark horse competitor for playing time this coming season. Price played in 15 games for Tampa Bay in 2011 before being traded to Chicago last summer. The Bears waived him ahead of the 2012 season, and he was signed to a futures contract by the Cowboys last December. Price was the 2009 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year for UCLA.

Corp's departure comes roughly 48 hours after he signed on with the team. The former USC and Richmond quarterback spent two short stints with the Buffalo Bills after going undrafted in 2012. He signed with the Cowboys on May 7.
