D-Line Won't Be Whole For Another Week

IRVING, Texas -- As well as the defense has played lately, they've had to do it without one of their productive starting defensive ends.

Jason Hatcher tweeted Tuesday that he'll miss his third straight game with a strained calf, but feels good about his availability next week at Philadelphia.

"It feels great," Hatcher said Wednesday. "I'm almost back.

"Some of the stuff I'm going to have to work through. That's with any injury when you come back. You've got to work through the little nicks and knacks until you get back to where it's supposed to be."

Hatcher was a pass rushing force in the first two games, recording nine tackles, two sacks and a tackle for loss. Marcus Spears, a six-year starter before this season, has started the last two games at right end.
