Dan Bailey Honored After Making 10th Career Game-Winning Field Goal

IRVING, Texas – Following his dramatic winning 54-yard field goal on Monday Night Football, Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 13.

Bailey was 4-for-4 on field goal attempts and 1-for-1 on extra points, scoring 13 of the Cowboys' 19 points in a three-point victory over the Redskins.

Monday night marked Bailey's 20th career game with three or more field goals – second most in franchise history. It was also his sixth career game with four or more field goals – most in franchise history - and his 10th career game-winning kick, also a team record.

Bailey also moved into third place for the league's all-time highest made field goal percentage on kicks attempted in the fourth quarter/overtime (93.02).

"He's a great kicker and has been since he has been here," Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said. "He's been in that situation a number of times. Virtually every time he comes through. We are not afraid in any way to put him in that situation."
