DeCamillis Has Successful Surgery

DeCamillis was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after experienced sudden stomach pains. He will be held overnight at the hospital and is expected to be discharged on Monday.

DeCamillis was accompanied to the hospital by Cowboys team doctors – Dr. Robert Fowler and Dr. Drew Dossett.

During the game Sunday, the Cowboys are using Wes Phillips to handle the special teams duties. Phillips, an offensive assistant and quality control coach, is overseeing the units, although other assistant coaches are chipping in as well.

The tumultuous season continued for DeCamillis, who suffered a broken back and neck in the May 2 accident involving the collapse of practice facility.
