Felix Recovering From Surgery; Vets Rest

IRVING, Texas --Veteran participation for voluntary May OTA's should not be overblown, but it's worth noting that running back Felix Jones is not yet ready for practice following offseason shoulder surgery.

Head coach Jason Garrett expects Jones to be ready for the start of training camp in late July.

"He's done a really good job within the parameters that our medical staff has given him," Garrett said. "He looks in good shape. He can't catch a ball yet, so that's an issue, but he's running routes on air."

Meanwhile, fellow running back DeMarco Murray is a full participant in this week's OTA's and appears to be fully recovered from last December's ankle surgery.

Among the veterans out Wednesday were linebacker DeMarcus Ware (personal), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (foot), defensive end Marcus Spears (neck) and Dan Connor (shoulder).
