Gene Jones, Charlotte Jones Anderson Win Arts Award

IRVING, Texas – Gene Jones and Charlotte Jones Anderson won the Individual Arts Patron Award and will be honored Tuesday evening in Austin at the Texas Medal of Arts Awards.

The TMA Awards spotlight and celebrate Texans who have achieved greatness through their creative talents, as well as those whose generosity has opened doors to artistic opportunity for Texans of all ages.

The event will be attended by honorees, artists, entertainers and arts patrons from across the state, including Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, former Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith,* *energy mogul T. Boone Pickens and musician Ray Benson.

The ceremony at the Long Center for the Performing Arts begins with a red carpet event, followed by a cocktail reception, dinner, awards show and the Starlight After Party. Chris Harrison, host of "The Bachelor" and a Dallas native and longtime Cowboys fan, will host the awards show. [embedded_ad]
