Holmes Giving Calvin Johnson Impression

IRVING, Texas --Last week, practice squad receiver Andre Holmes simulated the Redskins' Santana Moss on the scout team and got a compliment from cornerback Terence Newman.

This week, he's doing his best to prepare the Cowboys' defense for Detroit's Calvin Johnson, whom head coach Jason Garrett called arguably the best player in the league.

"I like wearing that jersey because I know I'm going to get the ball," Holmes said.

The 6-5 Holmes, a rookie out of Hillsdale, has the ideal height to mimic some of Johnson's route movements. Simulating the league's leader in touchdowns (6) is no small feat, though.

"Considering he's a tall receiver, I'm a tall receiver, we kinda have the same type of game, I guess," he said. "I'm just going to do what it says on the card and try to give the defense the best look."
