NASHVILLE – Anthony Hitchens will prepare to make his first start at weak side linebacker, as Justin Durant is inactive Sunday with a groin injury.

Durant, defensive ends Lavar Edwards and Anthony Spencer and tackle Darrion Weems were all ruled out Friday. The other inactives against the Titans are quarterback Dustin Vaughan, defensive tackle Ken Bishop and tackle Donald Hawkins.

This will be the first time defensive end Jack Crawford and linebacker Korey Toomer will be active for the Cowboys. Crawford spent training camp with the Raiders, while Toomer was with the Seahawks.

Sunday also marks the first time defensive tackle Terrell McClain suits up for the Cowboys, as he has recovered from an ankle injury that kept him out the majority of the preseason. McClain, Zack Martin (foot), Tony Romo (back), George Selvie (shoulder) and Terrance Williams (back) were all listed as probable and will play. [embedded_ad]

Durant and C.J. Spillman both missed the beginning of the week with groin injuries, but Spillman returned to practice on a limited basis Friday and will be active against the Titans. Edwards and Spencer are both out with knee injuries.

Head coach Jason Garrett talked about the possibility of only suiting up four wide receivers at some point, but all five wide receivers are active for the Cowboys. Fifth-round pick Devin Street recorded his first career catch in his first career game last week.
