PHILADELPHIA – DeMarcus Ware will miss the first game of his career Sunday at Philadelphia.

Ware and DeMarco Murray are both among the inactives, snapping a string of 134 consecutive games played for Ware, dating back to his rookie year in 2005. Ware is out with a thigh injury, while Murray is out with a sprained knee.

There are only six inactives total, since the roster is currently at 52. The other inactives are running back Lance Dunbar, linebacker DeVonte Holloman, guard David Arkin and tackle Darrion Weems. Holloman is out after injuring his neck in practice earlier this week.

With Murray inactive, rookie running back Joseph Randle is likely to handle the majority of the duties at the position. Randle and Phillip Tanner are the only active running backs, with Dunbar still nursing a hamstring injury.

All four tight ends are active, including Andre Smith, who hasn't suited up since the opener. [embedded_ad]

Defensive end Jason Vega and defensive tackle Jarius Wynn are both active after defensive end Edgar Jones went to the injured reserve/designated to return list. Vega was called up from the practice squad, while Wynn signed earlier this week.
