Joint Practices With Chargers Expected

GRAPEVINE, Texas --As has been recently speculated, the Cowboys are expected to hold joint practices with the Chargers for a couple of days after their Aug. 18 preseason game in San Diego.

"I would say the agreement -- our willingness to do it, their willingness to do it -- is all done," team owner/GM Jerry Jones said. "We've got a couple of logistics relative to such things as lodging, that type deal. But I don't see anything there would keep that from being a done deal, staying over there."

Such cooperative workouts have been common for the Cowboys in recent years, are logistically feasbile this year during their training camp and preseason time in Oxnard, Calif.

The Cowboys have traveled to and hosted Denver twice since 2007, and last year the Chargers visited Valley Ranch before a Week 2 preseason game at Cowboys Stadium.
