Lee Ready To Play After Exhaustive Recovery Process

IRVING, Texas - Sean Lee's pulled out all the stops to get himself ready to play in Monday night's game against the Bears.

It's worked, as his hyperbaric treatment, massages, active release therapy, stretching and acupuncture have all helped him come back after missing just two games following a hamstring injury he sustained against the Saints a month ago.

"They all blend together," Lee said. "You can't tell, but probably the rest and working out here was what helped out most."

In addition to his various methods of treatment, the schedule's helped Lee return quickly. He hurt himself Nov. 10 and four weeks later has only missed two games because of a bye week and long stretch of rest for the Cowboys after the Thursday game against the Raiders.

Lee said the schedule's a plus. But he wouldn't have been ready if not for his recovery regimen.

"It's just a whole system of here working with the trainers, making sure I'm getting rest, making sure I'm on point with my diet, making sure I'm doing different treatments like hyberbaric chamber and different things that are going to help heal that muscle quickly," Lee said. "I think it [embedded_ad] helped."

In Lee, the Cowboys will be getting back their leader in interceptions and second-leading tackler. Lee still holds those marks even while missing two games, in which the Cowboys managed to go 2-0.

Head coach Jason Garrett quipped that Lee may just need some Tiger Balm to rub on the hamstring now, but Lee's actually heeding that advice as well.

"I'm still using the Tiger Balm right now," Lee said. "We use it to warm up. I don't know if it's exactly Tiger Balm, but put a little heat on it, make sure it's ready to go."

Now that he's ready to return, he's not worried about the freezing temperatures that are certain to be present in Chicago.

"Cool weather's part of the deal," he said. "I'll be fine."
