New Cast For Lee; Austin, Jenkins Miss

While Felix Jones did return to the practice field Wednesday, there were some noticeable absences and even a new look for Sean Lee.

The second-year linebacker, who played last week with a bulky wrap around his left hand to support his dislocated wrist, wore a more open cast for Wednesday's practice that didn't cover his fingers, allowing him to form a grip.

Lee, who had five tackles last week with the cast, might just be trying out the cast during practice but could go back to the club-wrap for Sunday's game in Washington.

Two players who likely won't be there against the Redskins include wide receiver Miles Austin and cornerback Mike Jenkins. Both starters are nursing hamstring injuries, along with practice squad receiver Dwayne Harris, whose hamstring injury last week in practice cost him a chance to get on the active roster.

Austin, Jenkins and Harris all made it out to the practice field for rehab work, usually a good sign that a return is near.

And both starting guards missed practice Wednesday although it's on the precautionary side. Kyle Kosier hasn't practiced on Wednesday for six straight weeks, dealing with a nagging foot injury. Holland was sick Wednesday and was held out.
