Photo Gallery: Train Ride To San Diego Provides Scenic View

The Cowboys have wrapped up their 21-day stay in Oxnard, Calif. and are now headed to San Diego for the final leg of training camp.

Not only does it include the second preseason game – Saturday's game with the Chargers – but two days of practice with San Diego before heading back to Dallas on Wednesday.

However, the method of travel is rather unorthodox for professional sports teams these days as the Cowboys travel to San Diego via train for the third time in the last five years.

It's obviously much longer than a flight from Oxnard to San Diego and probably even longer than bus ride, yet it's a scene route down the Pacific coast.

It's become part of the routine for the Cowboys as they train in California, a place they are expected to return the next two years.
