Practice Update: Rain Doesn't Alter Schedule

With the schedule already changed enough with the Saturday night game, the Cowboys didn't move practice on Wednesday despite a steady rainfall at Valley Ranch.

The forecast for Tampa Bay calls for clear skies on Saturday, so it's not like the team was preparing for a bad-weather game. Coach Jason Garrett could be heard on the field saying "focus" and reminding them that "it's a Thursday and the game is coming fast."

With the short week, Wednesday is like a normal Thursday for the team, with just two days before departing for the road game.

As for the attendance, cornerback Mike Jenkins was limited with a shoulder injury, while safety Danny McCray (ankle) and Josh Brent (knee) did not practice. Center Phil Costa (concussion) did not practice and is not expected to play Saturday night.

Newly-signed quarterback Chris Greisen is on the practice squad and should help with the scout-team offense now that Jon Kitna has been placed on injured reserve. Greisen replaces the spot of wide receiver Dwayne Harris, who filled up the 53-man roster with Kitna moving to IR.
