FRISCO, Texas – The roster cuts are officially due on Saturday at 3 p.m., but it's never too early to speculate.

As the Cowboys still have one preseason game to play, it will be the last game for many players on the roster – and some of them perhaps their final game ever.

But by Saturday afternoon, the roster will be trimmed nearly in half, with some players getting waived, some going to IR and even the suspension list.

The staff writers of DallasCowboys.com weighed in on their final 53, including a healthy debate about the final 10 bubble players.

While nothing has been finalized or even seems close to being done, the staff decided to keep Ezekiel Elliott on the roster for now, assuming he will get a deal done and make it for the first game of the season. If that doesn't happen, there could be some shakeups at running back, but for now, the staff is under the assumption that Zeke will make it back.

That's just one of the decisions they had to make. Others include what to do with Taco Charlton and the crowded defensive end position. Do they keep six cornerbacks? What about six receivers? And does Mike White stay alive on the 53-man roster?

Check out the 53 players the Cowboys have making the final roster on Saturday.

From top to bottom, the staff writers have weighed in on the final 53-man roster, predicting all the way to the end, including a debate on the final 10 bubble players.
