Romo Could Take Pain Shot For Rib Again

IRVING, Texas --Tony Romo's fractured rib has improved to the point where it feels normal day-to-day, but he said the Cowboys are keeping the option of another pain-killing injection "on standby" for Sunday against the Eagles.

Romo previously said he might not need the pain medication after last week's game against St. Louis. He fractured the rib five weeks ago and has been wearing a protective vest for games, too.

It looks like this week we might do all the same stuff as last week," He said. "It looks that way. We'll see after this week. We're just going by each week."
