Romo, Cowboys Nominated For Multiple Weekly Awards After Giants Win

IRVING, Texas – Fresh off a dramatic division win in New York, the Cowboys have been nominated for two of the NFL's weekly performance awards.

Firstly, for the second time this year, and second straight game, Tony Romo has been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week.

Romo's four-touchdown performance against the Giants, which included a game-winning drive and scoring strike to Dez Bryant in the final minute,  gave Dallas a much-needed 31-28 comeback win over New York. He passed for 275 yards and found Bryant in the end zone twice, along with scoring tosses to Jason Witten and Cole Beasley. He was also nominated for his three-touchdown game against the Jaguars in London.

The Cowboys' winning drive has also been nominated for the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week, announced Tuesday. After the Giants took a 28-24 lead with three minutes remaining, Romo took the offense 80 yards on seven plays to answer. He completed all six pass attempts for 66 yards and the game-winning touchdown.
