Romo Nominated Again For FedEx Air & Ground Top Passer

For the third time this season, Tony Romo has been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week.

He has yet to win the award this year after being nominated in Week 1 and then again in Week 13 after a win over the Eagles.

Fans can vote for Romo at NFL.com/FedEx from Tuesday to Friday at 2 p.m. (CST). The winners will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

This week, Romo is competing with Atlanta's Matt Ryan and New Orleans' Drew Brees for the "Air" portion of the award. The "Ground" candidates are Knowshon Moreno, Adrian Peterson and Arian Foster.

Romo completing 30 of 42 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns, becoming the first player to eclipse 300 yards passing against the Steelers in 20 games, dating back to early in the 2011 season.

Fans will be voting for more than their favorite player. As part of the Air & Ground program and its commitment to small business owners, FedEx will support education efforts at Junior Achievement by making weekly $2,000 donations in each of the winning players' names. The funding, allocated to local Junior Achievement area offices in that team's city or state, is used to help U.S. small business development, by educating the next generation of entrepreneurs on how to start and grow their own businesses.
