PRO CON
A precise tackler in the run game downhill and a pesky presence in zone coverage across the middle of the field, Cooper stands out from the rest of the linebacker class with a versatility that can be used on all three downs in any situation. Not as fluid with his movement as some more athletic linebackers in the class, Cooper can sometimes get lost under his own feet when trying to make quick cuts either in coverage or in the run game, although his precise pursuit angles keep him out of trouble more often than not.

OVERVIEW: An AP First-Team All-America selection in 2023 for his play in the second level for the Aggies, Cooper's 17 tackles for loss led the SEC and ranked sixth nationally, as his knack toward crashing the backfield in the run game and the passer in the pass game was felt in all 12 of his starts last season. Cooper holds versatility – with a slight edge in the run game – that teams have coveted throughout the draft process, and it should result in a second-round pick in April.

COMPARISON: Foyesade Oluokun
