Ware & Lissemore Among Latest Injuries

The Cowboys were back on the practice field Wednesday indoors after early-morning rains forced the OTA practice to Cowboys Stadium.

While the roster is filled to 90 players, there weren't many players in the 90s, in terms of jersey number.

DeMarcus Ware (94) was out with a strained neck injury. Coach Jason Garrett said there is a chance Ware practices on Thursday, so the injury is obviously rather minor.

Defensive end Sean Lissemore (95) suffered a torn rib cartilage and his absence at this point in uncertain. Lissemore's availability for training camp is likely, but the June 12-14 minicamp could be too soon.

Veterans Marcus Spears (96) and Jay Ratliff (90) both missed time in the OTAs last week and didn't practice on Wednesday. Spears is suffering from a neck injury as well and Ratliff has been bothered by plantar fasciitis in his foot.

With so many defensive ends out, the Cowboys used Jason Hatcher and Kenyon Coleman as the first-team ends, but Clifton Geathers has started to show up more in these practices. Victor Butler replaced Ware at outside linebacker.
