IRVING, Texas – Tight end Jason Witten and his SCORE Foundation teamed with Albertsons to help fund the renovation and development of a learning center at Mesquite's Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas organization.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the learning center Friday, May 3, at 3:45 p.m.

"I am very honored and excited to partner with Albertson's and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas to make this learning center a reality," Witten said in a news release. "I am proud to have my foundation partner with other dedicated people and organizations to make a difference here in North Texas."

The new Jason Witten Learning Center is the second one to be placed in a Boys & Girls Club in Greater Dallas. The first was dedicated to the East Dallas Club in 2009.
