Witten's Ribs Didn't Feel Great, Either

IRVING, Texas --Amid all the Cowboys' injuries Sunday, including Tony Romo's fractured rib, this one might have gotten overlooked because he didn't miss a snap: tight end Jason Witten was dealing with bruised ribs himself.

Witten had seven catches for 102 yards, including a critical fourth-down reception that led to Miles Austin's fourth-quarter touchdown. But he clearly seemed winded at times throughout the game.

"I'll be all right," he said after the game, and pointed one locker over to Romo. "Not as a bad as this guy."

Witten has played with bad ribs before. He actually had a fracture in 2008 but didn't miss any of the Cowboys' final eight games.
