There are plenty of needs the Cowboys need to address in the 2020 draft, especially with the loss of a handful of starters due to free agency signings. The new coaching staff has emphasized the importance of building a team around the best players available and adjusting the scheme, not the other way around.

This draft class is loaded with wide receivers, which begs the question of drafting one that will make an immediate impact or waiting it out a few rounds and drafting a receiver later on.

The defensive side of the ball has more gaps to fill. The right side of the defensive line is lacking a solidified pass rush without the reinstatement of Randy Gregory or Aldon Smith, and Tyrone Crawford coming off two hip surgeries. However, this draft class has a handful of skilled defensive backs the Cowboys could want to get their hands on early to add depth in the secondary.

Here are a few names the Cowboys could select with the 17th pick in the draft or trade up and down the board for.

Anything can happen on draft day, especially in the first round. We've put together 17 legitimate possibilities for the No. 17 overall pick.
