FRISCO, Texas — Things aren't looking great for the Dallas Cowboys going into their Week 3 matchup against the Green Bay Packers and, guess who, all-world pass rusher Micah Parsons in his return to AT&T Stadium for the first time since being traded just ahead of the 2025 season but, and this is eternally true in the NFL, anything is possible.
There's no point in mincing words here. The fact is the Cowboys are reeling after not only an embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears last week, but also by the fact that game also cost them two offensive starters: CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Booker.
Can that be balanced, at all, by the two additions on defense??

Jadeveon Clowney is expected to make his debut to help the Cowboys' ailing pass rush and All-Pro cornerback DaRon Bland is trending toward returning from a foot injury that's cost him the last two weeks — the defense not-so-coincidentally giving up a massive amount of chunk yardage in those exact games.
Parsons will want to prove a point, and the Packers' offense will as well after being stifled by the Cleveland Browns en route to a loss, so it'll take a massive amount of will, discipline and execution to pull off the upset at home in primetime.
That means there's no better chance to use Green Bay as a hard reset that could propel the Cowboys forward.
