If you follow Ezekiel Elliott on his social media, you have a good idea of his love for his dog, Ace. He has been very vocal of his love for his pet and he wants to share this feeling with the people of Texas.

After returning from Green Bay, Elliott spent his day off at Dallas' SPCA of Texas where he sponsored a $21 "Run to the Shelter" pet adoption day. For each pet that was adopted on Monday, he covered the difference of the cost after the adopting family paid their $21.

135 people came out and in total 48 pets were adopted and sent home to new families. The surprising part for most participants was the fact that Ezekiel Elliott was actually present to be there and see the pets off with their new families.
