CowBuzz: Social Media Reaction To Drew Pearson's Epic Draft Cameo In Philly

Drew Pearson made NFL Draft history with his second-round selection announcement. This year's draft, hosted in Philadelphia, brought out many Eagles fans. Pearson, a proud Cowboys legend and Ring of Honor member, took the opportunity to poke a little fun at the rival fan base.

Prior to Pearson making the announcement, he thanked the Eagles fans "for allowing me to have a career in the NFL."

Loud boos ensued, so he kept fueling the fire talking about the Cowboys' five world championships, Hall of Fame owner Jerry Jones, head coach Jason Garrett, and past and present players.

The crowd at the draft, minus the Eagles fans, ate his speech up, and so did the Internet. "Drew Pearson" was No. 1 trending worldwide on Twitter Friday after the announcement.

Drew Pearson's selection announcement was definitely one of the most memorable moments of the 2017 NFL Draft, but I would even go out on a limb to say that it could be one of the most memorable draft moments of all time.
