The Dallas Cowboys didn't play a down of football on Thursday but were still able to clinch the NFC East division championship, secure a first-round playoff bye and have homefield advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. With the Philadelphia Eagles upsetting the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football, the postseason seeding was immediately decided for the Cowboys even with two games left in the regular season.
