The Cowboys are now in the middle of this gauntlet where they're playing four games in just 17 days, including the next three in a span of only 11. How difficult is it for the players, especially considering the teams they will be facing? By the end of this stretch could they be completely beat up and worn out? – Reggie Hampton/Dallas, TX
Patrik: The best way I can describe it to you would be to tell you to batten down the damn hatches, my friend. The Cowboys have to battle the defending champion, and conference-leading, Eagles this weekend, and then Patrick Mahomes returns to Texas with his Chiefs, and then there's a trek thereafter to face the Lions on their home field this time around. Did I mention the first two games are only four days apart, and the third is only seven days after that — no mini-bye week to recover before trying the visit to Ford Field? The opponents are contenders (regardless of the Chiefs' record), the timing of each game is brutally unforgiving, and the Cowboys are trying to work guys [back] into the mix during all of this. So, yeah, the stretch is at the highest level of difficulty, so we're about to find out what Dallas is truly made of.
