With sustained success at center for the better part of seven years - and the retirement announcement by Pro Bowler Travis Frederick - the Dallas Cowboys tabbed the best center in the country when they traded up to get back in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft to select Tyler Biadasz. Biadasz, like his predecessor Frederick, hails from Wisconsin and played for the Badgers. As a rookie, Biadasz began the season as a reserve lineman, seeing time on special teams, but was forced into a starting role after Joe Looney injured his knee and started four games in 2020. Biadasz took over the starting role in 2021, and he started all 17 games and Dallas' lone playoff contest. He continued his starting role in 2022, starting 16 games - missing one with injury - and both playoff contests, earning his first Pro Bowl berth as an alternate.
